Highly detailed plastic model kit representing the B1 program in its infancy. This prototype was the test bed for the now famous B1-B Lancer, comonly and lovingly called the BONE (B-ONE).
Model features detailed panel lines
The main fuselage is molded in upper and lower halves with the movable wings trapped in-between
Positionable landing gear as well as a crew entry door and ladder
Cockpit enclosure is molded as a clear part
Entire kit is molded in light gray styrene with clear parts
Approximate wingspan is 11.4 inches (289.56mm) (outswept wings) and 12.16 inches (308.86mm) long

Markings included in this kit: B-1A, 76-0174, B-1B test program and AFFTC, 1982 B-1A, 76-0174 as it currently appears at the US Air Force Museum
Glue, paint and assembly required
