LCW1307 Pillbox Building 28mm Scale Miniature Terrain Laser Craft
Human pirates, xenos raiders and ridiculously hostile wildlife are just a few of the problems you will encounter. The Pillbox design holds the answer which is sturdier than a block hab and much cheaper than a fortress. Small settlements may use a pillbox as a strong point to rally the local PD until help can arrive. Larger organizations have used them to anchor linear defenses or as sturdy observation posts against attack. With 360 degree fire points, sloped armored sides and copious storage space (7 inches from side to side) you will find your own uses for this sturdy, free standing fortification. Designed for 28mm miniatures and made of sturdy 3mm MDF board. Kits ship unassembled and unpainted.
The smell- Laser Cut MDF smells like burnt wood in its raw form. The laser burns the wood as it cuts. Once assembled and painted the smell almost always goes away (actually locked inside the paint). if you plan to leave your models unpainted, we suggest giving them a clear coat with something like Polycrylic. This will allow you to keep the natural wood look, but should eliminate the smell.
