HBM85801 P-40M KItty Hawk Fighter 1/48 Scale Plastic Model Kit Hobby Boss
The Hobby Boss Curtis P-40M Kittyhawk Model Kit in 1/48 scale accurately recreates the real life us-made fighter aircraft used by Allied forces during World War II. P-40M, version generally similar to the P-40K, with a stretched fuselage like the P-40L and powered by an Allison V-1710-81 engine giving better performance at altitude (compared to previous Allison versions). It had some detail improvements and it was characterized by two small air scoops just before the exhaust pipes. Most of them were supplied to Allied countries (mainly UK and USSR), while some others remained in the USA for advanced training.
Kit has engraved panel lines, basic cockpit, one-piece propeller with separately molded spinner, boxed-in wheel wells, drop tank and one-piece canopy. Decals and color painting guide for two (2) shark mouth aircraft: USAAF White 188 of the 75th FS, 23rd FG in 1943 and RAF Mk.III of No 112 Squadron - includes instrument markings
Over 30 parts
Length: 210mm (8.26 inches)
