LCW1336 Elevated Gun Nest Building 28mm Scale Miniature Terrain Laser Craft
The elevated gun nest is a popular alternative to the the guard tower with less developed settlements and for temporary security needs during mining, forestry, and other temporary resource extraction operations. Approximately 4 inches square at the base, the gun nest stands 7 inches tall at the roof line. The kit includes a ladder and two weapons. All kits ship unassembled and unpainted. Designed for 28mm miniatures and made of sturdy 3mm MDF board. Kits ship unassembled and unpainted. For ages 14 years and up.
The smell- Laser Cut MDF smells like burnt wood in its raw form. The laser burns the wood as it cuts. Once assembled and painted the smell almost always goes away (actually locked inside the paint). if you plan to leave your models unpainted, we suggest giving them a clear coat with something like Polycrylic. This will allow you to keep the natural wood look, but should eliminate the smell.
