LCW2680 Heavy Industry Satellite Dish Building 28mm Scale Miniature Terrain Laser Craft
For the futurama gamer or techie overlord. Watch the Skies with this multi role satellite dish. The installation provides multiple, independent functions including satellite uplink, long-range comms, early detection of craft and scientific research in one high technology package.
The Dish has a 9 by 8 inch footprint and is 12 inches tall with a structural steel style framework. The dish itself measures 10 inches across. The control bunker may be placed in the dish or placed separately on the table. Designed for 28mm miniatures and made of sturdy 3mm MDF board. Kits ship unassembled and unpainted. For ages 14 years and up.
The smell- Laser Cut MDF smells like burnt wood in its raw form. The laser burns the wood as it cuts. Once assembled and painted the smell almost always goes away (actually locked inside the paint). if you plan to leave your models unpainted, we suggest giving them a clear coat with something like Polycrylic. This will allow you to keep the natural wood look, but should eliminate the smell.
